CHISPO Team Led by Founder and Managing Partner Maggie Mi Participated in the "2023 AIPPI World Intellectual Property Congress"

The 2023 International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) World Intellectual Property Congress is set to take place from October 22 to 25 in Istanbul, Turkey. This marks the return of AIPPI to Istanbul for a world congress, with the last one held there in 2005. Presently,  more than 2000 intellectual property professionals and companies from 69 countries and regions have registered, making this year's conference a complete success.

 

As an AIPPI member, CHISPO has been actively participating in various AIPPI activities. For this congress, CHISPO Managing Partner, Maggie Mi, leads a delegation consisting of partner Xiaoxiao Wu and Gianna Yan, who oversees the firm’s foreign patent processes. Mrs. Mi serves as a committee member of AIPPI's Permanent Trademark Committee and the Joint Chair of the China Permanent Trademark Committee. During the congress, Mrs. Mi will lead the CHISPO team to participate in various seminars and hold nearly 100 meetings and discussions with partners and colleagues from various countries.

AIPPI, founded in 1897, is the world's oldest international non-governmental organization dedicated to the development and progress of intellectual property. It comprises of 8,000 members from 131+ countries and regions and is dedicated to advancing intellectual property protection and facilitating international legal alignment. AIPPI achieves that by researching and comparing international and regional conventions and agreements related to intellectual property and the laws of various countries.
