On February 15, 2023, under the guidance of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the National Patent Navigation Integrated Service Platform was established by the Patent Protection Association of China.

The platform has three basic functions:

First, it assists government departments at all levels realize the process control and performance evaluation of the national patent navigation work and promotes the high-quality, high-efficiency implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" patent navigation project.

Second, it bridges the demand and supply of patent navigation services corresponding to each industrial field and responds to various needs such as industrial decision-making, technology research and development, enterprise operation, regional planning, and double recruitment and helps improve the quality and efficiency of China's industrial development.

Third, the platform integrates the national patent navigation’s technology and expertise, strengthening the research and development of new tools and new patent navigation scenarios, in order to comprehensively promote the quality and efficiency of the supply side patent navigation services.
