In order to strengthen the protection of geographical indications in China and unify and regulate the use of special geographical indications, the National Intellectual Property Administration has formulated the "Administrative Measures on the Use of Special geographical indications (Trial)". The measures will be implemented from the date of promulgation (April 3, 2020).
