The two parties will cooperate in all aspects of music products and song announcements based on the legal authorization of short video background music. He has written over a million classic and popular songs, and has become the background music for short videos created by Kuaishou users. Kuaishou users can use many familiar classic works and popular songs to create, and many classic old songs can also be reproduced on the Kuaishou platform. vitality.

 

At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of Warner Music said that today, the short video platform has become one of the important platforms for song publicity. As a partner, Warner Music attaches great importance to Kuaishou’s ability in song publicity and has also seen Kuaishou’s copyright. With the planning and results made, I hope that in the future, the two sides can find more points of integration and make cooperation more smooth and lasting.

 

According to reports, in addition to reaching cooperation with music companies, in July this year, Kuaishou also launched a "100 million yuan incentive plan" for the music industry. The plan will settle copyright based on the performance of songs on the platform and will not restrict non-exclusive licenses. The promotion and realization of songs, so far, more than 150 music copyright companies cooperating with Kuaishou have obtained copyright revenue in the plan. Kuaishou will also give corresponding traffic tilts for music works that are highly liked by users, so that these content filtered by users' preferences can be better promoted, thereby driving the copyright revenue of musicians.

 

Yuan Shuai, head of the music business of Kuaishou, said that through the release of the 100 million yuan incentive plan to promote the market-based pricing of music copyright on the short video platform, it not only protects the interests of copyright owners, but also makes the development of the entire industry healthier. In the future, the Kuaishou Music Department will also work closely with the technical department to improve audio recognition capabilities and escort the right to use music. At the same time, Kuaishou is also exploring various forms of music promotion.
